How to get along with others
How to get along with others ?This is a good question. Many of my friends asked me this question.
I think if you want to get along well with others ,you must be kind and friendly to others at firt .
If you are kind and friendly enough to others, they would be kind and friendly to you too and they would like to make friends with you.But if you are bad, I think none of them would like to be your friend. And if you have no friends, you will feel very lonely and sad. So be kind and friendly to others .And I am sure you can get along very well with others.
Getting along well with others is very important. If you can get along well with others, you will enjoy yourself every day and succeed when you do anything .If not, you will not enjoy yourself at all and fail in anything.
【Travel by Bike】
There are many ways of traveling, People may travel by plane if they want to travel far and reach their destination in a shorter time. It is the most comfortable but expensive way. Most people travel by train because it is a less expensive way but the compartments are cramped and stuffy. Bus journey is a cheaper way but it is spent on narrow, bumpy roads which are crowded with traffic. Trips by ship may be the cheapest and most comfortable way but it takes too much time.
I tike traveling by bike. I can set out when I like and stop when I like. I can go wherever I like so that I can enjoy delightful spots rarely visited by other travelers. When I feel tired, I sit down by the bike and have a good rest. Besides, I can save much money for tickets and much time in waiting for the train or bus. I can cover more places by riding a bike than going on foot.
Traveling by bike is good to health. It is really a sort of good exercise to strengthen one's muscles and to test one's will. Moreover, it brings no pollution to the air. So it helps to clean the atmosphere.
【Adwantages of Travel】
Travel is beneficial to us in at least three ways.
First, by traveling we can enjoy the beautiful scenery in different places. We will see with our own eyes many places read of in books, and visit some famous cities and scenic spots.
Second, we will meet people with different interests and see strange and different things when we travel. We can get ideas of the conditions and customs of other people, taste different foods and local flavours if we like. In this way, we can understand how differently other people live.
Third, travel will not only help us to gain knowledge of geography and history and other knowledge, which will arouse our deeplove :for our m0therland, but also will help us keep healthy and make us less narrow-minded. Travel does benefit us both mentally and physically.
With all these advantages of travel, it is no wonder that travel has now become more popular than ex'er in China.
【If I were a teacher】
Sometimes, when I am listening to the teacher, I can’t help thinking that if I were a teacher, what I would do. If I were a teacher, I would walk into the classroom with a warm smile very day. I know teacher’s mood have great impact on student, especially their enthusiasm towards study. If I were a teacher, I wouldn’t leave students much homework. Too much homework may have negative impact on students, even resisting going to school. Besides, I want them have some spare time to do what they want. If I were a teacher, I wouldn’t have a preference for the high score students. On the contrary, I would pay more attention to the relatively poor students. I think they need more help and encouragement. If I were a teacher, I wanted to try my best to be a friend of my students. In spare time, we can talk to each other or join some activities together. I don’t act as a serious teacher that students are afraid of. I think a teacher like friend would be much more helpful to students.
【Failure Is a Good Thing】
Last week, my granddaughter started kindergarten, and, as is conventional, I wished her success. I was lying. What I actually wish for her is failure. I believe in the power of failure.
Success is boring. Success is proving that you can do something that you already know you can do, or doing something correctly the first time, which can often be a problematical victory. First-time success is usually a fluke. First-time failure, by contrast, is expected; it is the natural order of things.
Failure is how we learn. I have been told of an African phrase describing a good cook as "she who has broken many pots." If you've spent enough time in the kitchen to have broken a lot of pots, probably you know a fair amount about cooking. I once had a late dinner with a group of chefs, and they spent time comparing knife wounds and burn scars. They knew how much credibility their failures gave them.
I earn my living by writing a daily newspaper column. Each week I am aware that one column is going to be the worst column of the week. I don't set out to write it; I try my best every day. Still, every week, one column is inferior to the others, sometimes spectacularly so.
I have learned to cherish that column. A successful column usually means that I am treading on familiar ground, going with the tricks that work, preaching to the choir or dressing up popular sentiments in fancy words. Often in my inferior columns, I am trying to pull off something I've never done before, something I'm not even sure can be done.
