今天是5月10日母亲节，是全世界妈妈的节日，在这个日子里，我要为妈妈献上一束花，因为在其他日子里，她常常是家中最幸苦的。早上妈妈要为我们做饭，而晚上又要为我检查作业，我们时不时都会看到她鬓角的一、两根白发。
记得上个学期有一次因为成绩欠佳，被妈妈臭骂了一顿，当时我心里十分不快活，不明白妈妈为什么这样，但现在我知道了，妈妈这样是为了我好，哪个父母不望子成龙，望女成凤。我懂得了妈妈当时骂我心里也很难受，但打是亲，骂是爱，她不得不用“刻薄”的话来说我，好让我重新振奋起来，努力读书。
即使妈妈学习要求对我很严厉，但是妈妈还是很爱我的。
这让我想起我生病的时候、是严重感冒我穿着棉衣，盖着被子，躺在床上，还放了一个暖宝宝在身上，可是我还是觉得像在南极的水里一样冷，妈妈在厨房给我做姜汤，一会我就开始咳嗽，妈妈听见后立马跑来用温暖的手拍我着的背，并且给我喝热水，我变好多了，妈妈给我做了一碗粥，粥里放了莲子，到了晚上我咳嗽跟厉害了，并且发高烧，妈妈就给我忙前忙后，基本一宿没睡。
这事让我想起我和妈妈顶嘴，只因妈妈不帮我买毛栗子而生气，不禁鼻子一酸，这事多让人后悔啊!
所以，母亲对我们是无私的，我们要在有生之年好好孝敬母亲。
