The commentator was watching the world cup football final between England and West Germany.It seemed certain that England would win.There was only a minute left and England were leading by two goals to one.The German team had scored first but England had soon equalised and a quarter of and hour later,Peters had given them the lead.Now,play was in the English half of the field and the referee had just blown his whistle.He awarded a free kick to German about forty yards from the English goal.All the players gathered in front of the goal.Only a few seconds remained.The kick was taken and the ball went up to the left of the English penalty area.Everyone was fighting for it .It flew across the face of the goal.The defenders could not get it waay.Suddenly,Weber,the german left half,had the ball at his feet.Bob,the English goalkeeper,rushed to the other end of the goal to cover Weber's shot but it was too late.The ball was in the net.West Germany had levelled the score.The referee blew his whistle again to indicate the end of the normal period of play.The two teems would have to play extra time to decide who won the cup.

The FIFA World Cup
The FIFA World Cup (often called Football World Cup, The World Cup, or simply World Cup) is the most important competition in international football (soccer), and the world’s most representative team sport event. Organised by Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the sport’s governing body, the World Cup is contested by men’s national football teams which are FIFA members. The World Cup is held every four years, but the qualifying rounds of the competition take place over a three-year period, using regional qualifying tournaments. 197 national teams entered the qualification tournaments for the 2006 World Cup. The final tournament phase involves 32 national teams competing over a four-week period in a previously nominated host nation. The World Cup final competition (often called the "Finals"), which has been held every four years since 1930, except in 1942 and 1946 when it was cancelled due to World War II, is the most widely-viewed and followed sporting event in the world. It has a global audience of more than 3 billion people (half the world’s population) exceeding even the Olympic Games. Only seven nations have won the World Cup. Brazil is the most successful World Cup team, having won the tournament five times. Germany and Italy follow with three titles each. Argentina and Uruguay have two titles each. Finally, France and England have one title each. The next football World Cup will be held in Germany between June 9 and July 9, 2006 .

The teams must participate in elimination games within their own continents before qualifying to become one of the 32 nations participating in the final tournament. More than 90,000 fans attended the finals of the 1999 tournament—one of the largest crowds ever to witness a women’s sporting event. Nearly 75 nations attempted to qualify for the 1999 event, which was a 16-team elimination tournament.

今天一大早5点多钟起床，发现我婆婆这个“超级球迷”，正在观看夜里的足球世界杯比赛阿根廷踢德国的复播。昨天的巴荷之战我在“瞌睡虫”的干扰下没能看完，今天也只赶上一个复播，要知道，德国可是我的崇拜者。
足球场内人山人海，旁边全是广告商做的广告，有麦当劳，还有中国英利。把世界杯吵翻天的瓦瓦祖拉可是中国制造，声音此起彼伏！中国元素可真多！
我再看了一下比分，呀！1：0德国队领先。随着赛场变化，我的心情时而激动，时而高兴，时而紧张。只见德国队发起了攻势，11号助攻，被人拦截，吊住了守门员，传球给10号，突击球门！yes！进球！场上比分变成2:0。哈哈！太好了！我又大叫一声：“不好，球到梅西脚下了，想绝地反击！”可是我的崇拜者德国队战车的外号可不是吹的，防御力超强。四人围攻一个！“人海战术成功，耶！”他们又来一次，不好，大力射门，没人拦住，还好守门员守住了。我的心放了下来！最后一球是我的偶像克泽雷进的。他立马来了一个经典空翻。yes！朱靖涵喜欢梅西，我崇拜克泽雷。哈哈，梅西果然没戏！阿根廷教练马拉多纳急死了，跳了起来，像个球。

这正是第十七届世界杯揭幕战，德国VS哥斯达黎加的比赛。
二六年六月九日第十七届世界杯在德国打响。从那天开始足球一直成为人们津津乐道的话题。甚至有些人的生活规律都被打破了，白天睡觉，晚上看球。当然，我这个狂热的小球迷也不例外了。
由于世界杯的存在，“I love the world cup”这个句子越传越远。
唉，说了这么多话，你一定不耐烦了吧。请你听我为你解说首场八分之一决赛，东道主德国队与瑞典队的比赛。

最喜欢的球队：阿根廷
从一开始，我就对阿根廷队产生了喜爱之情，因为阿根廷队的技术是超一流的（我认为是），而且很多队员都飘着一头长发，多潇洒自如啊!阿根廷队开始百战百胜，使我非常高兴。但是到了四分之一决赛时，阿根廷队遇到了强敌德国队，最终输掉了比赛，我由于十分难过，所以痛哭了一场。仅管如此，但我对阿根廷队的喜爱之情是不会改变的。
最欣赏的球员：梅西
首先，梅西的技术很好，才19岁，被大家称为“天才少年”，而且他又是阿根廷队的球员，所以我最欣赏他。
最具戏剧性的球赛：澳大利亚对日本
本以为这场赛日本赢定了，因为日本队已经进了一个球，谁知到了最后8分钟，澳大利亚队连进3个球，最终获胜。真可谓“黑色8分钟”！
最幸运的球队：法国队
法国队在小组赛时，一直状态不佳。本以为法国队没机会出线了，可是它却通过最后一场的胜利，获取积分，使得法国队陆续闯进了16强、8强。真是再幸运不过了！

我们的世界杯
暑假的一天晚上，我和往常一样来到体育馆玩耍。夏日的夜晚依然酷暑难耐，但体育馆里去仍是人头窜动，打蓝球的、踢足球的、跳舞的各种运动都玩得热火朝天。我们这一帮小不点也加入到了运动中，组成了一支小小足球队，举行了一场属于我们孩子的“世界杯”。
小小世界观杯即将开始，我们先进行分组，我被分在一个小个子偏多的队伍当守门员。我们队虽然个子小，但我们仍可以用个子小灵活的优势，来回传球突破对手。我们队员积极跑动起来，球在我们的脚下滚动眼看就跑到球门前了，突然被对方给截走了。正当我叹息的时候情况又发生了变化，对方队员没跑多远球就被我方队员围住，许多只脚一起都来抢球，球在大家的脚之间飞舞，但终究由于双方对员个子悬殊太大，球最后被对方夺去，只见接到球的那名对员一个高射，球直接冲我飞了过来，还没等我回过神来球已经飞进了球门，0：1。尽管我们落后了一球但我们决不放弃，抓住机会夺回了一球。1：1。随着时间的推移，比分也交替上升，最后比赛以14：14结束。
虽然只是平局，大家也都大汗淋漓，累得只想趴在草地上，但我们在比赛中感觉到了足球的乐趣，也学会了相互配合，凭这点就比胜利强好多倍了。
