Mummy asked a little horse to carry abag of wheat
home.
On the way home, the little horse met a small
river. He was very worried . "What should I do ?" he
thought . At this time, he met a squirrel.
"Can I cross the river?" the little horse asked.
"Oh, you can't. The river is very deep, you will
drown ." The squirrel said.
The little horsewas very afraid .He cried .
A cow came to little horse. "What's the matter,little horse?"
The cow asked. "I can'tcross this river. It's very deep."
The little horse answered .
"Oh ,don't worry .This river isn't deep at all . I am sure
you can cross the river easily. Try ! " the cow said.
The little horse stoped crying. He tried his best and
crossed the river.
小马过河
小马的妈妈让小马驮一袋麦子回家。
在回家的路上，小马遇到一条小河。他很着急，“我该
怎么办呢？”小马想。就在这时候，他遇见一只松鼠。
“这条小河我能过去吗？”小马问。
“哦！这条河很深，会淹死你的。”松鼠说。
小马非常害怕，哭了起来。
一只母牛来到小马身边。“你怎么啦？小马。”母牛问。
“我过不了这条河，河水太深。”小马回答说。
“哦！不要哭了，这条河一点都不深，我保证你能轻松的
过去。试试吧！”母牛说。
小马不哭了，他尽了最大的努力，终于过了河。
