1、单词和词组：掌握一定量的词汇是学好英语的重要保证。大部分英语单词的拼写和读音还是有规律可循的，同学们还可以根据词缀及词性的变化，迅速记忆单词，不规则的变化要特别记忆。总之，一定要知其音，明其形，懂其义，做到词不离句，词汇的学习才会有实效。
2、语法：要学好英语，不掌握语法是不行的。但到了初三年级，光听老师讲语法规则，或者只背诵语法规则，那也是学不好英语的。比较有效的方法是在老师讲解后，同学们通过一定量的语法操练，在句中或文章中体会和理解语法。对某些语法要点和难点，要通过对基本句型的举一反三操练后，才能很好掌握。
3、阅读：到了初三，文本的阅读篇幅要长些，同学们就会因词汇量不够，或对语法知识的掌握不够，或因知识面较窄等因素，影响文本的阅读理解。同学们可以定期定量进行文本阅读训练，题材要丰富，内容要新颖，做阅读理解时，不能太随意，要限定时间;不要每逢新词汇就查字典，要学会通过上下文猜测词义。可采用泛读与精读相结合的方法来训练和提高自己的阅读能力。
4、写作：不仅要注意语言结构正确、合理，用词恰当，拼法准确，还要注意表达通顺，句子优美。同学们可利用课余时间背诵一些特定的句型和优美句子。
英语作为文科科目当中的一个重要组成部分，需要记忆理解的东西比理科要多的多，所以复习的战线需要拉得更长，每一轮复习时间也比其他科目要长。
英语复习计划可以分为三大阶段，每个阶段有不同的任务、不同的目标和不同的学习方法。
初三英语复习有四忌。一忌抛开考纲，盲目复习;应该回归考纲明确考纲要求内容;二忌急于求成，忽视小题;三忌支离破碎，缺乏系统;四忌浮光掠影，只重皮毛。

利用好一模试卷，开始进行查缺补漏和定时训练，掌握好试卷时间分配和考试技巧。随着中考的日益迫近，有些同学可能心理压力会越来越重。因此，这个时期应当以卸包袱为一个重要任务。要善于调节自己的学习和生活节奏，放松一下绷得紧紧的神经。
英语其实没有我们想象的那么难，关键看你有没有兴趣!
上课注意听讲，语法不仅仅要背得，而且要熟练(这点跟数学一 样)，学习了语法就多用用，练习相信老师布置的已经够的多了。
单词也一定要努力背诵，不要一次性背诵，要反复巩固，多学多背多用才是硬道理!
也不要忽略课外的培养，多看一点适合自己的英语杂志电视等等，并且我个人认为不要看中文翻译了，这样有一点适当的压力未尝不是好事。

主讲人是金山小学涂亿奕小记者的妈妈，她和我们一起分享了她给女儿制定的英语学习计划和她家英语学习的方法和体会。
讲座一开始，涂妈妈就问我们学习英语的动机和目标是什么？一位小记者站起来回答说：“我学习英语是为了以后出国能更好地与外国人交流”。“这是个非常好的目标”，涂妈妈接着说，“那么我们怎样才能学好英语呢？适合自己的学习方法很重要！”涂妈妈介绍了自己女儿的英语学习方法，她给女儿精心挑选了一本英文版《夏洛的网》，让女儿像学习语文一样学习英语，先泛读，再精读，每天读一段，通过每天的坚持，一段时间后她女儿终于读完了整本书，英语成绩也在不知不觉中提高了。接下来，涂妈妈又让女儿通过朗读短文、朗读原版书和学唱英文歌等多种形式来学习英语。涂妈妈说我们的母语学习是从听和看、读和唱、说和写逐步积累起来的，英语学习也是一样，只要坚持不懈就一定能学好！
最后，涂妈妈让我们自己制定一个英语学习计划。我的计划是：我想让妈妈给我买一套涂妈妈推荐的蒲公英英语绘本，从自然拼读学起，通过阅读绘本、观看英语动画片和电影来逐步提高英语水平，同时我也要坚持每天阅读，争取这学期能看完看懂英文版《小王子》。
