沙雕是一项集雕塑、绘画、体育、娱乐于一体的边缘艺术，其真正魅力在于以纯粹的沙和水为材料，通过艺术家的创作呈现迷人的视觉奇观，体现自然美与艺术美的和谐统一，所以又被人俗称为“大地艺术”。平时，我只在电视上、书刊上看到有关沙雕的一些小知识和图片，可这次国庆节，我能有机会亲眼目睹沙雕的风采，真是十分兴奋与幸运呀！
一进展览大门，那一座宏大的沙雕吸引着我。我们来到第一座沙雕展区，这座沙雕叫“法老雄风”。只见一座古代埃及法老的沙雕人头像，左右两边立着两座小沙雕，一座是狮身人面，法老头像做头，身躯是威严的雄狮，蹲在那里。雕刻得栩栩如生，看着，想着，我仿佛来到埃及金字塔的身旁，领略它雄伟的风采。
我们来到第二座展区，沙雕名叫“玛雅遗魂”。又是一座高大的玛雅建筑，它立在我面前就像一个巨人。整个沙雕展现着玛雅人的头像，特别让我感到新奇的是玛雅人的头饰，那片片羽毛饰物插满了头，有的挂在耳垂；有的饰物从鼻孔中穿过；还有的甚至穿过下嘴唇，真是五花八门。玛雅人民用自己的奇异的双手和独特的构思妆扮出自己的雄姿。这使我由衷地想到古老而文明的玛雅文化，都被艺术家用沙雕刻画得有声有色，让我增长了许多知识。
参观结束了，我依依不舍的走出大门……
