　　本来我不知道11月24日是感恩节。是金老师告诉我们的。金老师在最后一节课快下课的时候对我们说：“她收到了很多同学的贺卡，让我们回家感恩一下爸爸妈妈。”金老师还告诉我们，感恩节是美国人独创的一个古老节日。我们虽然是中国人，但是也应该有一颗时刻感恩的心。要感谢父母给予我们生命，要感谢老师培育我们成长，要感谢生活中的一切。

　　回了家，我给爸爸打了个电话，我喜笑颜开地问：“爸爸你猜今天是什么节日？”爸爸想了半天，还是问：“是什么节日呀？我猜不出来。”他一会说是父亲节，一会说是圣诞节。猜了好几次，都没猜对。我告诉爸爸：今天是感恩节爸爸，他这才知道11月24日原来是感恩节啊！我对爸爸说：“节日快乐，爸爸辛苦了。”爸爸问我怎么知道感恩节的，我说是金老师给我们说的。爸爸夸我真乖。

　　在学校的时候，我在想，怎么感恩妈妈呢？我有了一个好主意：就是回家给妈妈一个大大的拥抱。放学回到家，我赶紧给了妈妈一个大大的拥抱，妈妈不知道今天是感恩节很奇怪我为什么要抱她呢？我说今天是感恩节呀！谢谢妈妈每天为我所做的一切。

　　我要从今年开始记住：11月24日感恩节。

　　I didn't know that November 24 was Thanksgiving Day. Teacher Kim told us. "She received a lot of CARDS from her classmates, so let's go home and give thanks for mom and dad," Kim told us as she finished her last class. Kim also told us that Thanksgiving Day is an old holiday for americans. Although we are Chinese, we should also have a heart of gratitude. We should be grateful to our parents for giving us life, to thank our teachers for nurturing our growth, and to thank for everything in life.

　　When I got home, I called my dad, and I said, "daddy, guess what day is today?" Father thought for a long time, still ask: "what festival is it? I can't guess." He later said father's day, and later Christmas. Guess several times, didn't guess right. I told dad: it's Thanksgiving Day, and he knows that November 24 was Thanksgiving Day! I said to my dad, "happy holidays, dad's hard." My father asked me how I knew Thanksgiving, and I said Kim told us. Dad complimented me on my good behavior.

　　When I was at school, I was thinking, how can I be thankful? I had a good idea: go home and give mom a big hug. When I came home from school, I quickly gave my mother a big hug. My mother didn't know it was Thanksgiving. Why did I hug her? I said today is Thanksgiving Day! Thanks for everything my mom does for me every day.

　　I want to remember this year: Thanksgiving Day on November 24.

　　11月25日，是西方的感恩节。在这个阳光灿烂的下午，我们六年级联合中队在西湖小学阶梯教室举行了感恩节的活动。

　　首先我们欣赏了601中队的同学给我们带来的手语歌《感恩的心》，同学们听着听着也哼起了旋律，打起了节奏，有的还跟着台上的表演者学起了手语。紧接着602中队为我们带来了感恩节诗歌朗诵，大家静静听着，享受着用英语朗诵的诗歌！603中队的同学则为我们带来了关于感恩节的祝福语。最受欢迎的就是604中队为大家准备的一些有奖竞猜题和有奖小游戏了！

　　一听说玩游戏，六年级的同学立刻就high了起来，个个玩性大发！屏幕上每出现一题，台下同学的手就像雨后春笋一样高高举起，每当一个同学回答正确拿到礼物时，所有同学都向他投以羡慕的眼神，并给予热烈的掌声！

　　最热闹的游戏当然是剥玉米啦。这个游戏是感恩节最古老也是最传统的节目了。瞧！每个班派出的同学都在尽力剥着玉米，台下的啦啦队们不住地给自己班的同学加油鼓劲。

　　这次别开生面的感恩节庆祝活动，让我们六年级的全体同学度过了一段美好的时光，让我们了解了感恩节的传统风俗，更让我们明白了这个节日的特殊意义——学会感恩！

　　November 25 is Thanksgiving Day in the west. On this sunny afternoon, our sixth grade joint squadron held a Thanksgiving celebration in the west lake primary school classroom.
