To tell you the truth, I don't like the Spring Festival at all. When I was young I liked it very much,because I could had something tasty to eat during the Spring Festival,and I could enjoy very wonderful TV programmes,too. I also could had much free time during which I could did something I liked to do. I don't like it now, there are many reasons.
Firstly, I can't have a good time during the Festival. Every New Year's Eve something unpleasant often happens. Once I quarreled with my second brother.
Secondly, I can't relax myself during the Festival. I have to do many things, watch so many TV programmes, meet so many people,all these things make me very tired.
Thirdly, spending one Spring Festival means that I become one year older. I don't like to be old. I want to live longer and be young all the time.

Not only because it’s the biggest festival in the year, but also because it’s a new beginning that brings hope to people and it’s time for family gathering. Some will play games or hang out to have some fun. On the New Year’s Day, people get up early and say good words to anyone they meet. Children can get lucky money from relatives. For example, in the north, people will eat dumplings in the New Year’s Day while in the south people will make Zongzi. Firecrackers and fireworks are essential during the New Year. Now, people live a much better life than before, so people want to have a lively and grand festival. Some are likely to travel while some stay at home and take part in various activities to enrich their holiday.

In the New Year’s Eve, children will have their bodies cleaned and dress nice clothes early. Why do they seem to be poppet? Because adults always give more lucky money to the good children.
In the evening, all the members of family will sit around the table and have a big meal. Fish and meat often appears on the table. After the dinner, many families will watch TV together and enjoy the Party of Spring Festival on CCTV. At twelve o’clock, they will count seconds, “three, two, one” and say “Happy New Year” to each other. In the countries, some people will set off fireworks to celebrate the New Year.
The next morning, people don’t eat meat. Instead, they have vegetable dish. And then, adults will visit their friends and relatives with their children. It’s a good job for children because they can get more lucky money to buy things they like.
